I thought I would like this Podcast, but I can’t get through more than two episodes. I understand that contemporary politics has always played a part in Star Wars, but the way the various hosts connect everything in Andor to Trump, showing their Trump Derangement Syndrome, and viewing everything through that lense is insufferable. There are millions of SW fans who aren’t on the left, or merely want to escape the Trump talk. People can have reasonable views on either side of the immigration topic without being associated with a fascistic dictatorship. Also, the inconsistencies in pronunciation are tough to listen to. Chandrila is clearly spoken onscreen - why have a discussion and proceed to pronounce it incorrectly?

I like the setup. It’s nice to be able to listen to a podcast for each episode, especially because I don’t have time to binge all three episodes when they drop. I love the discussion, they’re not afraid to make parallels to current events.

Going to be honest, I do not understand why anyone has an issue with the way “Lore” is presented in this show. As someone who is a middle/high level Star Wars fan (have seen every movie, every show, not read most of the books but some), I find the level of depth of discussion of lore refreshing. As for spoilers, at this point, things have been out long enough that if you haven’t seen sometning, it’s not on the podcast host to account for that. I have learned a lot on this feed from having things spoiled that frankly, I would not have consumed anyway. Keep up the awesome work, I am going to continue to listen!

As a person who is just starting out in the star wars universe, It’s such a reprieve to listen to a star wars podcast that isn’t pretentious. Dave and John make great content for all levels of intrigue, plus they have a fun dynamic which makes for an enjoyable listen.

These guys do a really nice job breaking down episodes and talking through everything from plot to production. They have a nice rapport between them and I appreciate the effort they put in to make a good podcast.

The Lorehounds are at it again and I can’t wait to hear their thoughts on the new Mando season!
