What was this doing on a Last Days episode? Not to mention the fact that you were assuming that everyone thinks they deserve to get out…

    Usually a good show
Not so good on Natalie Wood, one was promoting his personal view of people's motivation. But please stick to forensics, not a popularity contest.
  • KristinRaines
    Irresponsible and grossly inaccurate
    Absolute nonsense, completely inaccurate gossip.

    Great podcast
Look forward to it every week. Enjoy Jason and Derick!

Wish they would diversify the lineup
Updating this review from previous 5 stars. Last Days had been one of my go-to podcasts for awhile, but lately it seems like the episodes have been about one random athlete or musician from the 80s/90s after another. There are stories to be told about those folks, no doubt. But seems like a very narrow audience to be catering to all the time when there are so many vastly more famous and recognizable subjects who have not gotten an episode yet. ***************** Love how Last Days episodes are short, sweet, and to the point. Short enough to finish the whole thing on your commute. Wish they would do episodes on Zsa Zsa Gabor and Princess Margaret.

    Gossip Pod
It’s just the podcast version of a gossip mag. Inaccuracies. Rushing to record episodes - Liam Payne. Trying to distract from what TMZ posted maybe?? So many wonderful people you haven’t covered but talking warmly about people who were awful.

    Updated
Edit: I’m gonna have to stop listening to this or at least decrease the speed. These guys talk way too fast. As an example, listen to the Nelson Mandela episode. I literally had to check to make sure I wasn’t on two times speed. Orig: I’m so obsessed with the show that I’m binging all of the episodes and one morning. Can you please put out new episodes if not hourly at least daily? 😊

    Kudos!
Love this podcast: I like that the subjects have run the gamut from past to present in sports, entertainment, etc. Derek and Jason work well together and I love that they stick to the point and their personal input is minimal. Annoying commercials notwithstanding, I look forward to each new episode.

    Great show
Great show. The episodes are very concise and to the point and full of interesting facts. Waiting for Kobe Bryant, Layne Staley, Mike Star, Chris Cornell, Hugh Hefner, Dustin Diamond, DMX, Barbara Walters, Bob Barker, and Bill Paxton episodes.

Well-Researched Stories Marred By Personal Politics
I’ve loved listening to the podcasts, but I’m weary of the remarks about any dead celebrity who dared to express views that aren’t in line with the hosts’. Kirstie Alley - was apparently far-right and disagreed with Hillary Clinton. She was labeled “controversial”and was apparently “damaged”by her opinions. This isn’t the first celebrity the podcast has treated this way. I am a happy Independent who truly doesn’t like either party. I would feel the same way had you said these things about Michael Moore. It takes away from the stories. I just want to hear about the deceased. I will still listen to your shows. Im just disappointed in the personal political inserts.

    Interesting Podcast
Debbie Reynolds was not as big a star as Carrie? Perhaps a walk down Hollywood Memory Lane would change that opinion. Fair podcast just a lot of repeating of information on Wikipedia or People Magazine.

    Love… but a correction
Love the podcast! Just a small correction about the Robin Williams last days… Luey Body dementia is actually a form of Parkinson’s, not Alzheimer’s. Parkinson’s is not just the traditional tremor.
  • RealisticOptimist
    Inaccuracies
You all get a lot of things wrong most notably in your Luke Perry episode. His son’s name is Jack and 8 Seconds was from 1994. He was on 90210 at the time. Amazing film. Amazing man. Do better.

    Great podcast
Here’s the deal, this could be a podcast with laughing and silliness and gossiping female hosts but these two guys don’t do any of that and they keep it simple. There’s a kind of beginning, middle and end. The audio quality is good, the hosts have good enough voices that aren’t annoying and hard to hear or understand and they have an interest in the subjects. I subscribed almost immediately and will continue to listen. Great podcast from a picky listener.

    Luke Perry Episode Mistake
Oops! Not that it's a huge deal but being TMZ I figured you all would be on point with your facts. The movie 8 Seconds actually came out in 1994, not 2004 as you stated in the podcast.

    So So Good
This podcast is so good, but, man, it makes me so sad sometimes! I am nearly always smiling through tears at the end of each episode. Thanks so much for this!

    Love Listening
I love this podcast and the interaction between the two hosts. It often makes me teary eyed especially people I enjoyed so much and whose lives were cut short. I get nostalgic and may rewatch or listen to things they did when alive and that brings a smile back to my face.

    It’s a podcast!
Guys, it’s a podcast. No to play movie snips if we can’t see them just to fill the time.

    Well done
Throughly enjoy this podcast. Well researched nice timeline run down with the important facts. Respectfully done guys, great job

    Sound issues
I really love the material of this podcast. It’s so interesting. But whoever is doing sound mixing needs to be fired. There’s huge volume fluctuations between the men talking and music/commercials that play. It’s very frustrating.

Excellent Historical Take on Celebrity Deaths
Well-reseached podcast that provides details on the moment the celebrity in question passed away, background on the person’s accomplishments, and considering the “what if’s” for the person’s trajectory had a particular instance not led to their demise. Ends with beautiful words shared by a loved one on the person’s significance in the world. Highly recommend if any of the folks they cover are interesting to you. I didn’t know too much about James Gandolfini before listening to the podcast and it got me so intrigued about him as an actor that I started watching The Sopranos for the first time: a series I have watched now more than once and that I absolutely adore.

    Amazing Podcast
Please do a Norm MacDonald if you can. This is such a great podcast and I love you guys for doing it. Let’s give Norm the respect he deserves. Love you too Norm! Always will. You’re an inspiration

    Autopsy
You mentioned Dr. Michael Baden. I hired him to autopsy my husband for a possible medical malpractice law suit. So he doesn’t just work for celebrities. He’ll work for anyone if you’re willing to pay his fee. Good podcast but you guys talk so fast. It’s really unnerving. But interesting stories.

    Enjoying Last Days
Ive been enjoying this guilty pleasure. These two intelligently and compassionately cover these celebrity deaths. Kudos on a fresh podcast!

    So Good!
Finally a podcast where the two speakers are articulate and don’t argue with each other or talk over each other. Interesting information about celebrities presented smartly and on topic. I like watching these two gentlemen on the tv show, but I have a hard time understanding ANY one on TMZ because they talk so fast and talk over each other. This podcast is a discussion by two intelligent people who are not trying to one up each other. Very informative, interesting and refreshing.

    Ready for more episodes!
Listened to all the episodes in one weekend. Wished they would have touched more on why the guy was wearing a dress and wig at the time of his death. I’m ready for more episodes!

    Content is great but …
I wish you wouldn’t read your remarks - it’s a podcast, you’re suppose to be talking casually. 😎 Love the legal side of things with your expertise.
