The M'Cheyne ESV Bible Plan with Kristyn Getty

Based on the M'Cheyne reading system, this ESV Bible plan features 4 different readings for use in both family and personal devotions. Each day hymn-writer Kristyn Getty reads two passages from the Old Testament, one from the New Testament, and one from either the Psalms or the Gospels. Starting January 1st, in one year, you’ll hear the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice.

Excellent way to stay on track with Bible reading.
This is an excellent podcast to keep up with daily Bible readers. The M’Cheyne plan is great, giving you two OT readings and two NT readings a day, getting you through the OT once and the NT twice in a year. Getty’s voice is wonderful with a strong Irish accent: some words might be hard to understand for those unfamiliar, but it’s clear in context. My only wish is that she would say which chapter she is reading. Instead of, “A reading from Matthew”, “A reading from Matthew 23” would be more helpful.

    Wonderful Bible in a Year!
I've been reading my Bible my whole life, but I've always failed to do an orderly "Bible in a year" plan. Thanks to this podcast, I'm finally keeping up! Thank you, and thanks be to God!

    Love/AI?
LOVE listening to this podcast! It’s been such a blessing to my daily routine. Sometimes it sounds a little artificial. Is she actually reading through the whole Bible or is this her voice developed using AI?

    Great Bible Podcast
I am really enjoying this podcast already. The sweet and relaxing voice, with her brilliant accent, expertly reading the Word of God is a pure joy. I only wish there was a little commentary after the reading.
