DH1884Such an inspiring programI look forward to each episode. I listen to it when walking. Totally different environment as I live in Florida, while recalling or discovering the various locations, as we travelled extensively through the UK over the years.

p-ami22More. East Anglia pleaseYou stated in the past that Ramblings had neglected East Anglia but that would be remedied. I hoped a few episodes would feature that area because there is so much to see and lots of history to explain about this large corner of the country.
-
lindiatouBalm for these troubled timesI absolutely LOVE this podcast series. The psychological benefits of “going along” on these ramblings are immense. I so look forward to a time when I can once again cross the Atlantic and go rambling on your beautiful country paths.

LouiseSh87Just wonderfulThis podcast is a treasure. I’m a British expat and often feel homesick. Ramblings never fails to soothe! Clare Balding is a wonderful interviewer, and she always manages to have genuine, warm, thoughtful conversations with the people she rambles with. There’s often a dog along for the adventure too (or Clare will comment on any who they pass). This podcast provides insight into the different physical and cultural landscapes of the UK. Thank you, Clare and the Ramblings team!

Mumm GAs if I’m walking in the UKWhen in truth I’m walking in my neck of the woods of Pasadena in Southern California. I LOVE your podcast!! I love your guests, the sounds of the environment no matter the weather. My constant walking companion. Thank you SO much. Great podcast😻

potterabroad73Informative & Thought ProvokingI love Claire Balding anyway, she has a lovely relaxed manner when interviewing people, but this podcast is just amazing and underrated I feel. It has the unique ability to get people to open up and talk about their lives, whilst using the landscape and points of interest if things get a little difficult to talk about.

Lizz&HavocIncredibleI just want to start off by saying this podcast is so awesome. I have never been to any of the places you've 'rambled' I enjoy listening while I'm at work, or walking my dogs. I live in Indiana, USA! Your descriptions transport me thousands of miles away and I love it so much! Great job! And thank you!

Rambler from Cambridge, MAWonderfully Calming to Listen to, Good for the SpiritTo ramble with Claire Balding is to hear peaceful, calming descriptions of beautiful scenery, to listen in on the patter of some very charming, good, simple people who have lived honest lives, and to find yourself relaxing and your spirit lifting after a long day. Wonderful to listen to in the evening and to set your mind at ease. A lovely, very simple program that is so simple you almost miss what a gem it is.

gardenzephyrA Rare TreatThis is an exceptional podcast for any anglophile, walking enthusiast, and/or nature nut like me.

ExPatCatThis is a rare find and a real gem.A complete favorite. Balding reviews not only the landscapes she walks but the walkers, themselves, and it's sometimes difficult to decide which is the more intriguing. Her narrations conjure sharp images of the places and people and it's a relaxing and refreshing way to walk your way around the isles.

CapstanHighly entertaining travelogueThis show was filled with funny anecdotes and a real sense of love of the place that they explored. Clare and her hosts hike around the island of Guernsey, and talk about the culture and history of the place. It really makes you want to get out there and see some new things.
