I love your podcast. I listen all the way thru then start over on episode 1. I feel like I know you guys are you’re just a couple friends of mine that I’m talking games and other things with. Are you guys done? It’ll be 2 years in July since your last show. Just wondering. I still have hope that there’ll be more episodes.

I cannot remember how I discovered this podcast but I now cannot imagine my life without it. Terrific gaming digital and analogue conversation along with insight about their joys and disappointments in life. These blokes have a die hard fan who listens in all the way from Colorado, USA.

I've been listening for years and it's still great fun hearing about gaming news, world of tanks, bad judgement, dog stuff, what they've been playing and other exploits that shouldn't be heard by children. Keep up the great work and I'm excited to be in the Kickstarter card game with these guys.

As a 22 year old American, I didnt expect to enjoy Midlife Gamer as much as I do. I've become a huge fan and would reccomend it to anyone who enjoys gaming and geek culture as well as funny persnal anecdotes (sp?)

I started listening to you guys about a week ago by mistake. How ever the little I heard made me want to listen to everything so I started with your first episode. I'm up to 40 as of now. You guys rock Ik I'm behind but I hope to catch up I listen to you guys at work so I'll be up to date on no time. Take care and like I said your a must listen in and nothing but love.

Listen to two middle aged Brits discuss video games and generally act goofy. I love english accents, and I want to find out approximately what is happening in the video game world, so this show works for me. To tell the truth, the best parts of the show are when the two hosts get off topic and just talk about their lives. And if you guys are reading this, soundtrack of our gaming lives is terrible. I have to get out my phone and skip past old video game music when that section comes on. Vague news and what we've been playing lately are the best!

Al Franken once said that talk radio is a cult of personality and the MidLife Gamer's coolaide is very sweet indeed. I came for the gaming reviews but I'm listening to their older podcasts for the guys behind the mic.

This is a great, entertaining podcast on video games. It is the funniest games podcast I have heard recently. MidLife Gamer should definitely be much higher in the charts. Keep em coming!

Shame on me! I've been an active member of this community for mote than two years now and I still haven't posted a review yet. I have to say these are the best group of lads you can ever game with. Who says gamers are cranky and bitter. If you want to join a warn, funny and mature group of gamers, head over to the midlifegamer.net forums and say hi. Oh, and the podcast is pretty good as well ;-) Just kidding, Matt and Daren put on a fantastic podcast. Very down to earth and witty. They have a little bit of a Burns and Allan chemistry. I'll let you figure out which one is George and which one is Gracie.

I will be honest and say that out of all the podcasts that I listen to, this is the only gaming podcast I download on a continuous basis. Insightful and detailed game reviews, good production value, and alot of NSFW fun! Keep going balls deep and I'll keep listening from "across the pond" in the U.S. My sanity thanks you.

This has to be the most laugh out loud funny gamecast anywhere. Midlife gamer covers a wide variety of gaming topics and never misses a chance to inform and entertain. I look forward to this one every week. Great, awesome, fun stuff. This is the first time I bothered to review a podcast. That is how good it is. Listen to it, you will love it!

I love this podcast so much that I have decided that I am going to find a mad scientest to impregnate me with a genetically modified Matt/Daren baby. It could be a fun challenge to get both their DNA. But even then I don't think I could all their wonderful qualities in one person. They know their games, obviously have a great friendship, and have that cheeky, naughty quality that makes you wonder what they are really up to during that late night game of Uno. ;) I guess I'll just have to stalk both of them until they love me.

Originally, I was looking for a podcast that talked about games and was casual enough to earn its explicit rating. After trying a few, I found that I needed to add, "doesn't sound like a bunch of kids" to my list of requirements. Midlife Gamer is the first podcast that has stayed subscribed to my ipod 3 months in. I look forward to hearing these guys week after week as much as I would speaking to my own friends. Keep being yourselves and I'l keep listening.

I've been a listener now for nearly a year and after sampling many other podcasts, including some of the most popular ones today, I still hold this one in my top three favorites. Great job guys, keep up the great work. The only thing I don't really care for is the weekly quiz. I find that to be a little on the boring side as I would much rather hear more game discussion!

Being 23 years old I'm not really a Mid-Life Gamer, but as someone morbidly pointed out on the forums that if I die at 50, I am. ;-) I had to sneak myself onto an American iTunes account to write this glowing review. I discovered your podcast while browsing through iTunes for more gaming ear-tainment and I've never looked back! I'm a huge fan of gaming podcasts like the Giant Bombcast and Weekend Confirmed, and I must say that you guys top them both. Your podcast is genuinely funny and very entertaining! Your different segments like Quiz etc.. are very original and a great addition to the gaming podcast formula and others should take note. The production value of your show is also great. So often podcasts seem to just rush-edit everything together, but the MLG podcast has a very nice flow with great music ques and pacing. Good work! I will continue listening to your podcast every week and know that you guys are making a huge contribution to the online gaming community. Keep up the awesome work, guys! :-)

Have tried listening to a few gaming podcasts since just getting back into gaming at the age of 31, and this (along with giant bombcast) is the best. Very easy to listen too, can feel the honest enthusiasm these guys have for videogames, and it's all delivered without the fuss and fanboy nonsense of other gaming podcasts. It's like being down the pub and chatting about games. Great stuff.

Being a fellow podcaster I know that people don't take the time to write reviews. That being said, this podcast is hilarious. I look forward to the new episode every week. The banter is great and I love the quiz at the end. Keep up the great work.

This is a highly enjoyable gaming podcast from a couple of friendly gentlemen from across the pond (apologies for the earlier error). What makes it most enjoyable is the obvious passion both of the hosts have for gaming and how much fun they seem to be having each week. The shows typically run from 1-2 hours and at the end of each I can't help but feeling like they could go on for another hour or two. It's also a nice change to get the perspective of gamers outside of the US. Make sure you stay tuned for the jokes at the end... priceless!

This is absolutely one of my favorite gaming podcasts. It’s a good mix of news, reviews, and fun stories about their personal week in gaming. The two hosts sound like great guys, and I look forward to spending a hour or so hanging out with them every week. There’s a dynamic chemistry between them, so it’s genuinely funny, witty, and fast-paced entertainment. They're a little more grown up, a little more mature, and have a little more to say… But they also know how to have a good time. (Ok, let’s be honest - sometimes they’re a bit filthy. The out-takes at the end of the show are pure gold.) It’s simply a great show - I’d put it in my top ten podcasts of any genre. Keep it up guys - you really have a great thing going!
