Great format and the deep-dives are awesome. I learn probably 2–5 things I didn't know before listening to this!

Best Security and Technology Update Podcast
If you're a system admin, work in security, or just a hobbiest trying to keep abreast, this is the show for you. I highly recommend for any CS student as well; take it from me, you'll impress your professor on your knowledge! The hosts are old hats and it shows. They are informative and funny which makes for a great show. Always listen to it the day it comes out because I want to know what's up this week and if there's anything I need to know about / action I need to take. Great tech support, too!

    What did they say?
I wanted to like this podcast. The hosts know what they're talking about. They generally ask the right questions and cover relevant subjects. But I can barely understand what they're saying. There is so much mumbling and poor recording that it's just not worth it. Some of the noises that come out of their mouths will make any native English speaker feel outraged. What a shame.

Seriously all sysadmin should subscribe. Big thumbs up guys!

He best tech security news show
This show is the best educational experiences you can get. When I started listening, I knew almost nothing about computer security. Techsnap breaks down the world of network security. But they don't educate by talking down to the audience. Instead, Chris and Allen talk about the subject like experts, but experts that are understandable.

    Love it
Great podcast that I listen to all the time. Sorry, but I don't like the sponsor Godaddy and moved my domains away from them. I also like AirVPN. Hey there Brian Curbs (Brian Krebs).

The best sysadmin podcast out there
TechSNAP rocks! The hosts consistently provides relevant and extremely interesting news and discussions about open source admin, networking, and security. In addition to making a great show, there's pages of show notes that can be found on their website for all those pesky URLs and names of software that were mentioned in the show but you forgot about in addition to links to articles and information on the stories in the show. Keep up the great work, guys!

I was hooked by coder radio and through that found this show. While my background is more in the dev. world its hard to beat CR but this is definitely another great piece of broadcasting. So much info! Thanks a lot and keep up the great work!

This show scares me every week and I love it!
Everytime I listen to this show, I hear something that is just frightening. If you work with technology, you need to listen to this show. Their indepth coverage of expoits and attacks is incredible. Allan Jude really gets to the heart of these topics and gives you the info you need to be aware and protect yourself. Patch your 'S' and do not score passwords with reversible encryption or weak hashes. Listen if you want to find out why...

Thanks guy for another great show!
TechSnap is a great show that gives a great Linux/BSD perspective on Tech news and topics. It is very open source heavy but Alan and Chris do a good job of weeding through the information and giving a pretty good analysis and presentation. It is worth a listen if you are interested in admin news and tips.
  • DebianFan

Very good source for no-nonsense tech news and sw/hw product reviews. They also give in-depth analysis of security tech news (especially data breaches). Great for Linux and BSD fans.
