This is the best online business podcast that has experts explaining practical strategies and techniques to navigating how to improve businesses and grow an online income.

Many of the episodes have useful information, but oftentimes the info is drawn out for too long. Hour plus episodes could probably be shortened to 45 min, which would make for an easier listen. The search intelligence ads are sooo repetitive though- I can’t hit the skip ahead button fast enough when they start 2-3x/episode. Would love more actionable tips for a variety of things they talk about.

The nonstop complaining for the first 20min of the Friday show is making an episode I used to look forward to one that I dread.

I listened to several episodes before posting this review to make sure- but the Niche Pursuits podcast is exceptional. Business podcasts, especially those made for bloggers, can get away with rambling hosts, annoying tangents, and poor production quality. But Niche Pursuits clearly puts in the work to prep their guests, bloggers’ biggest pain points/questions, stay on track, and edit well. I learned a whole lot about how to improve my blog and business through this podcast. Thanks!

Spencer's show is easily one of my favorite marketing/entrepreneurship podcasts to listen to. He always manages to extract valuable insights and lessons from his guests, and I learn something new every episode.

Spencer breaks down info on how to build a niche site and make it work. While building a site can take a lot of if time in the beginning he shows it can be done and have it make some cash flow at the same time.

If you implement the teachings mentioned in this podcast, it literally has the power to change your life. My venture funded startup was strugling and few years ago I decided to scrape some money that I was barely able to save and I bought a website for $2,000. I was scammed. Couple years later I found this podcast and started listening to one episode after another. I finally gathered the courage and motivation to try again. I bought several websites, and now I am making over $1,000 in passive income. I bought a small apartment with my fiancee, and we are about to live rent free. Naturally, all this hasn’t come from listening to a single podcast, I’ve been an Internet entrepreneur in Croatia since 2006, so it adds up. But, podcasts like Spencer’s Niche Pursuits make the difference. I’ve listened to almost every episode, and some I listened to twice! There’s so much valuable advice here, it’s just ridiculous we can listen to it for free! Absolutely ridiculous and I am grateful for it!

I give this podcast two stars. Every time I subscribe to it he disappears for months. If there was any consistency it would be a good follow.

This podcast provides detailed information and really teaches. Many other podcasts in the same area are enjoyable to listen to but don't deliver on the "take away" as it relates to useable knowledge. Niche Pursuit does!

I’ve tried 50+ business podcasts and this is one is my favorites. There are no commercials and almost no self-promotion or cross-promotion. The host gets pretty much right to the point whether interviewing a guest or doing a solo show. |-| He doesn’t try to be “Mr. cute family man” like Pat Flynn or a scripted, lead-magnet-junkie, cross-seller Amy Porterfield. |-| Niche Pursuits by far provides the most actionable value. |-| When a guest comes on the show it’s almost as if the host, Spencer, requires that he/she reveals some of their strategies for success… actual strategies… and not one of those lame, listical teasers followed by a “get my super valuable lead magnet on this landing page” nonsense - which is the format on seemingly every other internet business podcast. |-| The best part is that the host, Spencer actually makes most of his money doing the things he talks about on the show. Contrast this with the “make money online” riches gathered by others whose main source of income is selling you programs that promise to make you money online.

It's like when your favorite song comes on as you pull into the driveway. You sit there until it's over, even though you are home. You will not want to pause this podcast – it is so good, you have to hear each of the south all the way to the end. Thank you for the honesty, inspiration and great ideas for the new entrepreneur.

Incredible value in all episodes. They regularly interview episodes and we get to see real online businesses that generate revenue. Love almost all the case study episodes, and the interview episodes where they reveal SEO and content marketing strategies. I really loved the recent episode with hayden Miyamoto. Sad that they haven't released any new episodes since June.

It's super awesome that Spencer and team publish coaching podcasts so we can learn along with their students. Subsequently some of the podcasts are slow-going, especially if you already have a site, however, you can just listen in 1.5-2x speed, or skip to the topic you need to learn next. And Spencer's in between podcasts and interviews are the best for delivering solid content. On top of that, Spencer offers an entire FREE niche site course that, between the two will take you a long way toward knowing how to build profitable niche sites. Highly recommend. I'm going through the entire list of them... skipping around to what's relevant, then going back to others because there are snippets in each that help to fill in the blanks.

If you are currently working for someone else and would love to be able to transition to becoming self-employed, this interview with Greg Mercer is a must listen. Spencer did an absolutely fantastic job of asking all the right questions to get Greg to share his many valuable lessons.

I have been listening to the niche pursuits podcast for several years, but I felt compelled to write in and say the Niche Site Project 3 series has been incredibly valuable, way beyond previous episodes. Thanks so much for putting that together! It's been incredibly useful to hear all of the start to finish steps and advice that you would give someone throughout the process. I hope the series continues for a long time. I originally thought hearing couching calls for 3 different students would be too much repetition of the same topics but that hasn't been the case at all. Spencer has an amazing podcast where he breaks down different aspects of websites and different approaches to monetization. His discussions are relevant for the newbie and for those more advanced. His down-to-earth presentation and genuine thirst for knowledge come through in each episode. You get a perspective of someone who has done it and failed and has had successes that he shares openly and honestly. It's as much from the failures that you learn what it takes to run a site business as it is from the successes. This podcast is a must listen to. It is valuable to go back to earlier episodes and listen to the journey. Spencer speaks for the every man who has wanted to dabble in website building and monetization. He is a true expert but also someone who is still looking to learn. He's not resting on his laurels but looking for continued growth and he's taking his listeners on that journey as well.

I just listened to Spencer and his cousin Jon, and feel a new sense of motivation to go for my niche pursuit. The information was easy to understand and presented well. Nice to hear a real world example of how someone can take an idea, a plan, lots of hard work and make a business out of it.
