    Amazing podcast
Jason is an amazing and caring person and he truly loves what he does. He asks great questions, brings on wonderful guests and covers all kinds of topics around travel and digital nomad life. He’s been around a while, but the episodes remain interesting and relevant. I love that he brings some guests back on a regular basis. That’s a testament to how much we all love and respect Jason. Keep up the great work, J! 🫶

    Engaging, informative, fabulous
I love this show. The variety of topics, the range of speakers, the conversational nature… it’s the podcast I go to first for my dose of inspiration and fuel for wanderlust.

    Excellent!
Jason's genuine curiosity is what makes it special. He's not just interviewing people - he's having real conversations that make you feel like you're sitting right there with them, dreaming and learning. If you want travel content that's authentic, inspiring, and packed with real-world advice, Zero to Travel is your go-to podcast. It'll make you want to pack a bag and see the world - or at least dream a little bigger. I myself visited around 40 countries and loooove to go deeper and exploring the world more also through the guests perspectives. Thank you so much, Jason! Hugs

Like Having Lunch with a Buddy
I look forward to listening to ZTT every week because Jason has a way of allowing his guests to tell their own personal travel stories and guiding the conversation without being overbearing. I also appreciate the diversity of backgrounds and perspectives the guests the show has, which speaks to the openness of the host. Keep it up!

    A Bright Spot
Over the past several years, this show had continually given me glimpses of what’s possible, what’s else is out there, introduced me to stories of people who are doing amazing things in the world, and make me think about my home country (the US) differently than I ever had! It constantly encourages me to be brave and to take more risks, be more okay with being uncomfortable, and for the love of god, to put my phone down a little more often. Jason is a charismatic host, engaging conversationalist, and a true GIFT and light in this world (not to be dramatic). This community built from a podcast is really special and I’m forever grateful to have found this pod all those years ago!

    Real Deal
Jason is the real deal! His interviews are always spot on. His show is very conversational, like you are there in the living room. As an American living and traveling abroad, who best to give advice? Thanks for keeping it real!

    Love this show!
Sorry this review is long overdue! I started listening to podcasts during the pandemic and this is the only one I still listen to on a regular basis. The guests are really interesting and Jason gives them space to talk and tell their story. There is also lots of actionable advice, whether you are a world traveler or prefer to stick closer to home. Thanks so much Jason!!

Jason’s ZTT inspired my worldwide travels!
I discovered Jason’s podcast many years ago, and through him and the show, I learned that travel doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. Since then, I have visited dozens of countries, thanks in part to some of the advice shared by Jason and his guests. Thanks, Jason! Kit P

Too much talking and repeating yourself before the show starts. I left before it even started. One big long commercial before the show even starts. I’m out. lol.

    Vicariously traveling
This show keeps getting better. I’m loving recent guests and topics - especially the gap year episode because our family is considering a gap year or at least gap summers and we have a junior in high school. I love to visit places by listening as I walk on the treadmill imagining being somewhere else or planning my next trip. The guests just keep getting more interesting.

My kid is living in Prague because of this podcast!
I’ve been listening to Zero to Travel for years. When Jason interviewed someone about college in Europe, it lead me to all kinds of research. Our family travels internationally nearly every year but this idea was completely new to me. Sure enough, he was on to something. College is cheaper in Europe and my 19 year old is currently finishing her first her at Anglo American University in Prague eager for year two. What a gift for her to have this opportunity. I don’t think I would have come up with the idea without this podcast. So thanks, Jason. I’m still an avid listener and am now trying to finagle an early retirement so I can travel permanently. Fingers crossed! Keep it up. Love the podcast!

    Going to travel
Everywhere before I die, or at least travel through all your episodes. Going to listen to them all. I also listen to every single episode of “Community News with Paul and Sasha”, a funny, satirical, episodic podcast. They are fun to listen to when I travel or commute, but I really want to go so many places. Can’t wait to catch up on all your episodes and plan where I am going. There is so much to see in this world.

    Motivating and invigorating podcast!
This podcast has given me a breath of fresh air and has allowed me to look at the world, and my personal goals, with a new lense! I listen every day and love the guests, as well as the questions Jason asks! It allows me to be transported outside of my small world and into a world I want to be more of a part of! I plan to make that launch soon, all thanks to the motivation and confidence given by Jason and guests on this show!

    Best podcast for travel inspiration!!!!
I’ve been listening to the podcast for years! I appreciate you opening my eyes to the world of travel possibilities! You and your guest have truly inspired my husband and I to do more than just save for vacation each year - we are designing our life around travel. We changed jobs to have the flexibly to work remote so we could extend our travel and we have not regretted this for one minute. In fact we have both advanced in our careers during this time and have just completed our second month long “workcation”. Last year we spend the month of August in Colorado (which I know you love) and this August we stayed in South Florida (Sanibel Island). We are working towards doing the month long “workcation” multiple times a year. By “workcation” I mean we take a week off work then spend the rest of the month working remote while still enjoying the destination. We work 4 days a week so we have a long weekend to explore. We feel like this gives us enough time to get a sense of what it is like to live in a new place. Thank you so very much for opening our eyes to this adventure filled way of life! We plan to retire early and will be hitting up Cool Works for some extra creative and travel inspired work.

    Please talk less
Love your guests. Please, please talk less, Jason. I was excited to listen as guests and topics are unique. However, it sounds like I’m listening to a used car salesman interviewing bright, interesting guests.

    This podcast changed my life
I am so thankful to Jason for producing this podcast and inspiring me to pursue my travel dreams. I wasn’t happy in my job, but didn’t see a way to further my career and still travel the world. After listening to the education abroad episode and doing a lot of thinking and prep work, I will be starting a Masters program abroad in the fall! If you have any desire to travel in unique ways, give this podcast a listen. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.

    Favorite Podcast
This has been my go to podcast for over 2 years now. Jason consistently hosts incredibly intelligent, well spoken, and unique people who contribute to conversations on travel that goes beyond the surface level. I learn something new in every episode and enjoy the casual, but thought provoking conversational nature of the podcast. I highly, highly recommend!
  • Jerry D. Stackhouse
    Love it
Jason does a fantastic job of bringing on guests with such diverse experiences and travel philosophies. He’s great at facilitating conversation and really let’s the guests speak, not trying to make the show about himself.

    Good interviewer
Very pleased with the host’s seasoned interviewing skills. He asked all the right questions!!!
  • venkab
    Waste of time
I would ignore it if it were boring. I’d move on if it were for those uninitiated in travels abroad. I’d be ok with it if it were to be very basic or even at 0. But the problem is that the host is fairly ignorant. He doesn’t know some very basic information about the countries he talks about. He has no business hosting a travel podcast. I’m afraid he’s helping normalize ignorance about the world.

Love them all, traveling vicariously (for now)
I love this show and every episode, regardless of whether I want to travel to the same destinations or not, I learn something from every show. I appreicate the balance between the digital nomad lifestyle, which I aspire to, long travel, volunteering and working overseas, and the many voices that appear on the show. Not to mention that Jason has a very kind, upbeat attitude and is a great podcast host, letting his guests speak and gently guiding the questions. One of my all time favorite podcasts. <3 Marya in N. Cali.
