James discusses a wide variety of topics related to plant medicine, consciousness, human and transpersonal development, as well as other related topics. Occasionally awkward but so am I at times so it’s a good match. James is tireless and highly-focused in his efforts. I find his views to be incredibly insightful. This is some of the best content you will find in the space.

I first started listening to this podcast several months ago and now it’s one of the podcast shows I look forward in listening to when a new episode is available. The most recent segment about the topic on HPPD was one that I can sincerely relate to, This podcast is always bringing up great topics for thought and awareness. James is an extremely knowledgeable host who pulls from his own wealth of expertise when leading conversations with his guests. Together, they go beyond the basics to discuss cultural impact, philosophical questions, and a wide range of experiences. Really appreciate the diverse perspectives and deep insights explored on this show. 🙏

I am so thankful for this podcast. It has helped me better understand my trauma and how it has come up in psychedelic experiences and helped me find a great therapist and my therapy has jibed with almost all of what I have learned here. I’ve been a listener for about a year now. I’ve listened to lots of podcasts, and I’ve come to increasingly appreciate James’ amazing level of thoughtfulness and precision. He crafts every question to his guests with care. You can follow this as he speaks. Integrity appears to be a high priority for him, and value this too. His guests are similarly thoughtful and well-informed, meaning they have something of value to share. This podcast is A-rated in my book. Thank you James.

Great content, but with highly variable sound quality and seemingly no editing. I’ve had to give up on some episodes due to the terrible sound glitches. There is real gold in many of these episodes, but not 2-3 hours worth.

James is a truly brilliant interviewer with amazing communication and honesty. The guests he hosts are diverse and present amazing material on a breadth of fascinating topics. I discovered this podcast just a month ago, and I’ve already listened to almost every episode. I am frequently inspired in a big way by the conversations and transmission that takes place. This podcast is just what my heart has been wishing for.

I didn’t expect AttM to become a favorite psychedelic podcast but it has. I first landed here following guests in whom I had an interest, and thought, “Another young tripper with a microphone...I’ll listen to just this episode.” I kept coming back because he’s interviewed so many of the best in the fields of psychedelic science, therapy, sociology, etc, and eventually stayed because James is such a consistently thoughtful, careful, informed interviewer brining us the best there are to hear from.

James W. Jesso has exposed me to many aspects of the psychedelic culture I never would have known about without listening to his show. His questions are always searching for depth and nuanced answers from his guests. I appreciate all I’ve learned from the show and all the care he takes making sure every show is the best it can be. Bringing topics to light that may cause some folks to be uncomfortable, like colonialism, cultural appropriation the Ayahuasca Colonialism podcast with Kevin Tucker. Thank you for this podcast and for some folks it may make you uncomfortable to listen to. This is probably my favorite of podcast on this show which are many other great ones, I appreciate this one because not only do they talk about the Ayahuasca boom but the impact it has had on the native people and accessing their own plant medicine.

Great job on Fox News! I really thought your answers were well thought out, logical and not putting a weird spin on the issue. The issues around medical, recreational and decriminalization are very separate issues that some conservatives and commentators want to lump together. Thank you for not overreacting to some of the cliché questions! You represented the issue well!

This podcast has an intellectual and refreshingly nontraditional approach to personal development and spirituality, and I found it at a time I was looking for words to describe my experiences. From serious discussion about the benefits of psychedelics, to improving relationships with oneself and others, ATT Mind is an insightful resource that provides truth in the face of unquestioned, mainstream ideologies that have been robbing and starving human consciousness.

Thanks James, for your ongoing enthusiasm and wisdom. I'm relatively new to the psychedelic community. As a therapist as well as medical provider in a hospital, your podcast is one of my go tos after tough nights at work, reminding me to keep an open mind and offer services outside the box.

I recently put my finger on why I love James' interviews ... something he said himself and I couldn't state more succinctly and plainly (I'm summing up): he covers things that alter our sense of self, things that alter our sense of reality and things that influence our moment-to-moment experience. Especially those things that take us off-kilter and force us to come to terms with things when they aren't the way we want them to be. Lots of "things" eh? Beyond psychedelics. So many things ... trauma, sexuality, death, etc. AND all wrapped in James' earnest, authentic and raw honesty.

I've truly become a believer in his work. He has opened my eyes ,heart and soul , I could never thank him enough,and a thanks to all the guests he's interviewed or conversed with. Great work and a even better message!

Within this context, it is wide ranging and exploratory. Psychedelic spiritual work provides an avenue of return to the sacred. If you have an interest in visionary, shamanic or entheogen work, this is the podcast for you.
