I first learned about Drew and AMI last year, when a friend and fellow PR agency owner attended the Money Matters workshop. She told me it was literally a game changer and paid for itself based on the changes she implemented after attending. Since then I have followed the podcast, joined the Facebook page and incorporated multiple best practices into my firm, which celebrates it’s 15th anniversary this year. The end-of-year worksheets, planning, and goal setting have been fantastic and I’m eager to incorporate more AMI teachings in 2024. Hoping to attend the Money Matters workshop myself in a couple of months!

I’m reading and writing so much every week that I struggle to dive into business books. But I can always make time to listen to Drew and his guests, whose insights and experiences offer informed perspectives. I may not always agree, but I am provoked to think about topics that float above the day-to-day work of client service, and I appreciate that. I look forward to each episode and often go back to old ones to listen again. One recommendation: I think guest representation could be more diverse to include the expertise of industry leaders of color; there are amazing veterans out here whose voices can be introduced to the BABA community.

The content and interviews always provide helpful, timely insights that speak to any agency, regardless of the type or size. There is always something valuable to takeaway. I don’t generally recommend podcasts, but for agency owners out there - this is a must!

Drew’s ability to ask the right questions to steer his interviews to fit smaller agency owners like myself is very much appreciated. This is one of the few podcasts I try to catch every episode of as they release. He usually has me thinking two steps ahead so that I’m aware of the new terrain that I can grow my business into:)

Agency people understand what that means, and to find a podcast that truly does as well - especially from a business growth and leadership standpoint - is uncanny. Highly recommended! I own a small 11-person agency in NC and came from the client side so always felt like I didn't know if I was doing things right. Few of our associates until now came from an agency so when I found this podcast I felt like i hit gold. I also joined the virtual peer network and have developed a great relationship with other agency owners who are a great sounding board. Even if we don't have exactly same business model in common it's great to have sanity checks or ideas from peers or from listening to these podcasts.
