Shawn - Mount Vision, NYOverpromised and Underdelivered: A Disappointing Venture into Tech BuzzwordsThe "Built for Change" podcast, while ambitiously aiming to explore cutting-edge technological trends, unfortunately falls short of its promising premise. The series attempts to delve into complex topics such as Web3, the metaverse, and quantum computing. However, it seems to be mired in superficial discussions, led by hosts and guests whose expertise in these highly specialized fields is questionable. Notably, the episodes often come across as thinly veiled promotional segments for Accenture's partners and clients, rather than providing objective, insightful analysis. This aspect becomes particularly tiresome as the series progresses, detracting significantly from the educational value one would expect from a podcast tackling such transformative technologies. Moreover, the podcast tends to skirt around the truly challenging aspects of these technologies. While it touches on intriguing concepts like Folding@home's distributed computing achievements, the treatment of these subjects lacks depth. The discussions do not critically engage with the material, leaving a listener who is well-versed in these areas wanting more substance. In essence, "Built for Change" seems more like a glorified advertisement for Accenture’s services, rather than a genuine effort to educate or provide meaningful commentary on the future of technology. For those seeking a nuanced and expert analysis of tech trends, this podcast may not be the best resource.

cbgb2005Feels like a long extended sales pitch for these companiesAfter one or two episodes, it became really tiring to feel like I was being sold to. It’s like a paid series to feature Accenture partners and their clients.

Winston2356Polished but light and obviousFunny how the reviews here remind me of those Facebook reviews which are all glowing. Only listened to 3 episodes but very disappointing. Lots of obvious broad generalities. Lots of mentions of research but never provide it. Lots of compliments for those I guess are Accenture clients. Accenture consultants are scary bright. But they treat podcasts as another client sales pitch. Very polished, all scripted. But no grit at all. Someone needs to let their consultants loose.
